Routes to Bay City
For those that are making the long trek down to Southeast Texas on Friday, there are a few viable routes that you can take. The first, which will be The Cameron Herald’s preferred route, will take you down south on Highway 77 to La Grange. You will get onto highway 71 before turning left on FM 961 before you get into El Campo. This will lead you to Wharton where you will turn right to get onto Highway 60. This will lead you into Bay City, where you will take another left onto 12th street. 12th street will take you right to the stadium.
A second option is to get onto Highway 36 through Caldwell, Brenham, Bellville, Sealy and then into Wallis. You will then turn right onto Highway 60. This will take you all the way through Wharton and into Bay City where you would take a left onto 12th street.
