Estelle “Patsy” Marie Elliott Price

Estelle “Patsy” Marie Elliott Price, 88, of Cameron, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Aug. 31, 2016.  

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 5, at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home with Chaplain Bruce Mercer officiating. Family visitation will be prior to the funeral service on Monday from 9:30-10:30 a.m.

Mrs. Price, a homemaker, was born June 22, 1928, in Cameron to Nathan Monroe and Dena (Ayers) Elliott. She married Dwight M. Price Jr. on Dec. 27, 1948, who preceded her in death in 2006. She was a member of First Christian Church in Cameron. 

She was also preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Ernest (Speck) Elliott, Marvin (Jack) Elliott, J. K. (Jake) Elliott and sister, Pansy Tucker.

Survivors include her daughter, Denise Price Owens and husband Travis of Temple; sister, Willie B. Mullinax of Cameron, currently residing in Temple; grandchildren, Shannon Jistel and wife Ashley of Cypress, and Chad Owens of Austin; great-grandchildren, Caleb Jistel and Megan Jistel of Cypress; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Dr. Lisa Forrester, Dr. Alan Anderson and Dr. Daniel Keyser for their many years of caring for their mother. They would also like to thank the Kindred Hospice team and Cameron Nursing Center for their care of their mother.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the charity of donor’s choice.
