Brandi Lianne Glaser

Brandi Lianne Glaser

On Tuesday, May 31, 2016, our dearest Brandi left us peacefully in her sleep. In her abbreviated time with us, she touched so many of us with her wonderful spirit, smile and love.

Brandi was born April 8, 1975 in Temple and grew up in Buckholts. She graduated from C.H. Yoe High School in Cameron, and moved to San Marcos after graduation. More recently, she lived in the Dallas metroplex area and worked in the hospitality industry for over 20 years.

Over the years, her love and passion for dogs remained constant. There were so many that touched her heart; too many to count including Chloe, Freckles, Rocky, Bunny, Millie, Dolly, Woodson, Kilo, Mateo and most of all, her beloved Bear. Brandi treated everyone’s dog as if it were her own.

From the first family vacation to Orlando, Brandi’s love for travel began. She was not satisfied to book a tour like a traditional tourist. She wanted to explore and experience the local culture. She loved fine dining, museum visits, theater productions, outdoor adventures and most of all, time on the beach. The beach was definitely her happy place.

Brandi created joy through her passion for cooking and entertaining family and friends throughout the years. She didn’t just cook, she created an experience for her guests, especially when she prepared and served her famous crab legs. Any time was a good time for a celebration with fantastic meals and just the right playlist.

Brandi had a style like no other. She was always searching for the perfect accessories, shoes, purse or hat to complete the outfit, complementing the forever changing hairstyles. She loved a flower in her hair, a cowboy hat, sunglasses and her favorite, gold, hoop earrings!

She is preceded in death by grandparents Herman C. and Thelma Grothe from Houston and Joe A. and Hilda M. Glaser of Buckholts.

She is survived by her loving family: mother, Linda Grothe of Kerrville; father, Richard L. Glaser and his wife, Jane Glaser of Buckholts; sisters, Deanna Glaser of Flower Mound and Roxanne Glaser of Waco; and brother, Casey Glaser of Dallas, Texas.

We will miss her strong, caring and loving nature, along with her illuminating and sparkling personality. Brandi will remain brighter than ever in our hearts and memories forever.

A Celebration of Life will be held 2-4 p.m. Saturday, June 11, at the Rolling Oaks Funeral Home, 400 Freeport Parkway, in Coppell, Texas. Condolences can be offered at www.rollingoaksfuneralhome.com.

In lieu of flowers, please support Brandi’s passion for dogs though a donation to either Paws in the City http://www.pawsinthecity.org/ or Operation Kindness http://www.operationkindness.org/.
