Nehemias Rangel

Nehemias Rangel, 58, of Westphalia, died March 10 in a Temple hospital.
Funeral services were held March 14 at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home with Pastor Moises Vaca officiating. Burial followed in the Hernandez Cemetery.
Mr. Rangel was born May 29, 1957, in Cameron to Simon V. and Alicia (Galarza) Rangel. He married Margaret Alvarado.
He had worked for Milam County Pct. 2 as a heavy equipment operator.
He was preceded in death by his father and by a brother, Fred Rangel.
He is survived by his wife Margie Rangel of Westphalia; sons, Adrian Martinez and Ray Simon Rangel, both of Cameron; daughters Missy Alonzo of Cameron and Hope Zapata of Rockdale; his mother Alicia Rangel of Cameron; brother Simon Rangel, Jr. of Cameron; sisters Gloria Martinez, Linda Acosta, Esther Cole and Rebecca Sanchez, all of Cameron, Elizabeth Vega of Buckholts, Alice Marie Flores of Hewitt, Melissa Sanchez and Deborah Shipp, both of Cameron; stepson Ricky Mendoza, Jr. of Hewitt; stepdaughters Jennifer Duzich of Frisco and Erica Rendon of Houston; five grandchildren and six step grandchildren
Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home of Cameron was in charge of arrangements.
