Billy Jean Scheler

A memorial service for Billy Jean Scheler will be held Saturday, Sept. 29, at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church at 518 E Gassaway in Lott. Burial will follow with immediate family at Clover Hill Cemetery.

Born to Herman and Lillie Scheler on Oct. 20, 1953, in Cameron. At the age of 64, he went to be with our Lord and Savior on Sept. 19, 2018.

He was preceeded in death by his mother; father; brother, Herman Scheler Jr.; and sister, Shirley Tenery.

He is survived by his brother, Earl Scheler; his son, Chris Scheler and daughter-in-law Rebecca Scheler and their two children, Cyntre and Nolyn Scheler; his daughter, Candace Nance and son-in-law James Nance and their two children Jaydian and Aynslee Nance; his daughter, Carissa Horn and son-in-law Terrence Horn and their three children Chayton, Ashtyne, and Braelyn Horn; his son, Craig Scheler and daughter-in-law Tara Scheler and their three children Micah, Ezra, and Jude Scheler; as well as his nephews, Joey Scheler and family, Michael Scheler and family; and his nieces, Kelly Obrien and family and Wanda Tenery; and numerous cousins; and his beloved fur baby Little Man.

They went through extra measures to help our family when in need.  This place was nothing less than an oasis and sanctuary for animals and Billy would have loved it.  So, we are asking for all donations to go to them to assist them in helping other families and their fur babies. Billy would not have had it any other way.
