Donald Blake Harless

Donald Blake Harless, 21, of Cameron, passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2018. 

Funeral services were held Saturday, June 23, 2018, at the Milano High School Gymnasium in Milano, with burial following at Burns Cemetery in the community of Blue near Lexington. Visitation was from 6-8 p.m., Friday, June 22, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale.

Blake was born April 18, 1997, in Houston, to Ty Harless and Jennifer (Barfield) Mueck. He graduated from Milano High School where he played on the Milano Eagles football team.  Following high school, he attended Texas State Technical College in Waco. Blake worked for Dudley Construction out of College Station as a construction worker for the past five months and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Milano. 

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Bobby Earl Harrison; grandmother, Shirley Stifflemire; grandparents, Evelyn and Lawrence Mueck; great-grandparents, William Brown, Dewey Huddleston, Jean Delefosse, and Ola Mae Barfield.

Blake is survived by the love of his life, Aliya Arredondo of Rockdale; mother and other father, Jennifer Mueck and husband Richard of Cameron; father and other mother, Ty Harless and wife Reneé of Hickory Creek; brothers, Jacob Harless and Caleb Mueck of Cameron, and Branson Harless and Trevor Owens of Hickory Creek; sisters, Breanna Wicker of Lake Dallas, Cheyenne Owens of Hickory Creek, and Arianna Dellermon of Cameron; grandparents, Donny and Naomi White of Milano, Bo Barfield of Cameron, David Harless of Kenifick, and Theresa Huddleston and Terry Mortin of Milano; great-grandparents, Whistle and Billie Jo White of Jones Prairie, Texas, Minnie Brown of Cameron, Bill and Julie Stifflemire of Lexington, and Corolita Huddleston of Rockdale; as well as a niece and nephew, numerous aunts, uncle, cousins and extended family members.

Serving as pallbearers were Jacob Harless, Trevor Owen, Brandon Harrison, Christian Grimes, Cole Sheppard, Tanner Willems, Dillon Liscum and Brian Judson.

Honorary pallbears are Branson Harless, Caleb Mueck, Payden Bell, Rance Bell, Wyatt Cotton, Jared vonGonten, Mason vonGonten, Wesley Morgan, Josh Lewis and the Milano Eagle Football Team.
