Noemi Garza, 50, of Gause and formerly of Brownsville, died Monday, Dec. 14, in a Temple hospital.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Dec. 17, at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron with Rev. Antonio Vasquez officiating.
Burial followed in the Liberty Cemetery.
Mrs. Garza, a homemaker, was born Dec. 27, 1964 in Mexico to Nicolas Perez and Alicia Tinoco.
She is survived by her husband Roberto Garza of Brownsville; sons Fabian Garza of Brownsville and Octaviano Garza of Brownsville; daughter Jaqueline Rodriguez of Brownsville; parents Nicolas and Alicia Perez of Gause; sisters Estela Botello of Houston, Angelina Rodriguez of Houston, Silvia Rodriguez of Homestead, Sonia Peres of Sun City, Rosa Pena of Gause and Camelia Peres of Richmond; and three grandchildren.
Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home of Cameron is in charge of arrangements.
