County Judge David Barkemeyer and District Judge john Youngblood judged entries in the Milam County Pecan Show pie bake-off Tuesday at the AgriLife Extension office.
Milam County pecan producers entered the annual Pecan Show this week at the AgriLife Extension office. In addition, the pecan pie bake-off drew entries in both youth an adult categories.
Noting that it was a ‘tough job, but someone has to do it,” County Judge David Barkemeyer and District Judge John Youngblood judged the pecan pie baking contest. Extension specialist Bill Ree judged the pecan entries.
