Evelyn Jistel Keith

Evelyn Jistel Keith, 82, of Cameron, died Tuesday, Nov. 10, in a Temple hospital. 
Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 16, at the First United Methodist Church in Cameron with Rev. Drew Weber officiating. Burial followed in the Oak Hill Cemetery. 
Mrs. Keith, co-owner and operator of Keith’s Minimax in Cameron, was born Aug. 8, 1933 in the Marak Community of Milam County. She married Wilson Clifford “Dub” Keith and he preceded her in death in 2011. She is also preceded in death by a grandson, Brandon Haag and by five siblings. 
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Cameron. 
She is survived by daughters Deborah Burt of Morgan’s Point and Pamela Ramirez of Cameron; brother Clarence Jistel; sister Berniece Kurtz; three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Association or the First United Methodist Church in Cameron.
