Nora Lee (Havlik) Zavodny, 91 of Duncan, Oklahoma, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Monday, Aug. 31, 2015, at the home of her son Bobby and his wife Paulette.
She died peacefully in her home in the presence of her family after a brief illness.
Nora Lee was born on April 9, 1924, in Cameron, to Henry J. and Matilda (Tomasek) Havlik. She was a lifelong resident of Cameron until she moved to Duncan, Oklahoma, in 2011.
She was a graduate of Ad Hall School and C.H. Yoe High School in Cameron.
Nora was a retired manicurist/ seamstress/factory worker and was a loving mother and grandmother.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Marek, Burns, and Laywell Funeral Home of Cameron.
A small family memorial will be held in her son’s home, and her final resting place will be in Duncan, Oklahoma.
Nora Lee was a member of the Evangelical Brethren Church of Buckholts and a member of SPJST Lodge 15, Buckholts.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother James (Jimmy) E. Havlik of Houston; and nephew Neil Havlik.
Nora is survived by son Bobby Guidry of Duncan, Oklahoma, and wife Paulette; grandsons Ryan Guidry, Jared Guidry, Travis Guidry, and Russ Guidry and wife Korey, all of Yukon, Oklahoma; brother Henry A. Havlik of Maysfield; and niece Ann Griffin of Houston.
