Cyril Methodius (Pete) Vaculin

Cyril Methodius (Pete) Vaculin, 90, of Buckholts, died Thursday, Sept. 17, in a Temple hospital.
Funeral services were held Sept. 19 at Sts. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Marak with Father George officiating. Burial followed at Sts. Cyril & Methodius Cemetery in Marak.
Mr. Vaculin, a farmer, was born Jan. 3, 1925, in Petibone, to Joseph Vaculin and Elizabeth Drozd Vaculin.
He married Dorothy Jean Zalesky on Nov. 28, 1950.
He was a member of the Sts. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church, was the Marak School trustee, the caretaker of Sts. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church, manager of Marak Hall, a KC Member of  No.10186, and an officer of KJT Lodge No. 39.
He was preceded in death by a daughter Lisa Vaculin Hanel.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy Vaculin of Buckholts; sons Gene and wife Judy Vaculin of Buckholts, Ricky and wife Cathie Vaculin of Rockdale, Jimmie and wife Theresa Vaculin of Tomball and Tommy and wife Laura Vaculin of Buckholts; son-in-law Donald Hanel of Cameron; daughter Virginia Vaculin Sapp and husband Allan of Cameron; brother Laddie Vaculin of Buckholts; 15 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
